A FASHION show in Sudbury drew the crowds and the cash in aid of charity.

Edinburgh Woollen Mill, in Old Market Place, held the event to raise money for the Free Press’ Community Nurse Appeal, raising £250 for the cause.

Staff put on the fashion show, which displayed the autumn and winter clothing range, and a raffle prize draw, before letting 45 visitors loose for a shop.

Store manager Claire Ayers organised the event alongside supervisor Linda Catanach.

Mrs Ayers said: “It was a good night and we all had a great laugh.

“St Nicholas Hospice Care is just a great cause and it is close to all our hearts. We’re hoping to do the show again next year.”

Mrs Ayers thanked the shop’s staff for their help with the event.
