ELECTION: Melford results

Richard Kemp has been re-elected as Suffolk county councillor for Melford.

Independent candidate Mr Kemp won with 1387 votes, more than 53 per cent.

Dave Reynolds, for UKIP, attracted 478 votes or 18 per cent, narrowly beating Conservative Sarah Pugh with 421 votes.

Mick Cornish, Labour party candidate, attracted seven per cent of the vote with 176 and Graham Manning for the Green Party got 146 votes or six per cent.
