AN EIGHT-year-old schoolgirl’s Easter-inspired leaflet design will soon be winging its way to thousands of homes.

Richelle Munden, a pupil at Great Waldingfield Primary School, put pen to paper for as part of a competition launched by BYchoice estate agents in Lavenham to create a new spring leaflet.

The competition was open to a number of schools in the area, with children aged between six and eight putting down their interpretation of the Easter theme and Richelle emerging triumphant.

Her design will now be delivered to around 15,000 households, while the youngster was handed a £50 prize voucher.

Angie Jones, headteacher at Great Waldingfield Primary School, which also received £250 as part of the competition, said: “Richelle and her mum are absolutely thrilled.

“The children had a lot of fun making their designs and we will be putting the money awarded to the school to good use by developing our outdoor learning centre.”
