Learn to use the internet

TASTER sessions offering advice and help on how to use the internet are set to be held.

The initiative, which is part of the national Give An Hour campaign, will see officers from Babergh District Council teaching residents basic online skills and directing people to free internet courses.

Dawn Williams, Babergh’s customer access manager, said: “Using the internet can provide all sorts of benefits that cannot be appreciated, if you have never used it before.

“Being able to find information and request services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, is an extremely convenient thing to be able to do and we would welcome showing any residents who would like to see how easy it is to go online.”

The sessions are being run during the day at council offices in Corks Lane, Hadleigh.
