CAVENDISH Primary School’s Christmas fair made a record profit of £1,048.

New attractions at the event on November 26, including a “Flog It” market stall and name-the-turkey competition, proved popular, alongside traditional stalls, a raffle and a visit from Father Christmas.

Cavendish Pre School also managed to raise £70 with a stall selling raffle tickets for Christmas hampers.

The money will be used by the PTFA for school projects.
