Cake cash

CAKES and treats were gobbled up in a flash as St Joseph’s Primary School held a sale in Sudbury town centre on Saturday.

The stall, manned by 10 parents, pitched up at 8am and was sold out by early afternoon, raising £245 for the school’s PTA.

School secretary Natalie Holmes said: “We have a lot of building work going on so they are saving money for extra items for the playground once it is finished.”
