Local community group Transition Sudbury has published its plans for a packed autumn programme of events.

The group has been putting on events, walks and classes to encourage people to live more sustainable lifestyles since 2010.

Some of these events are now so popular that they are put on annually, including swap shops and apple pressing.

On September 27, the group will take part in a 30-mile food challenge.

In October, there will be a swap shop at St John’s Methodist Church, a composting and basic vegetable growing class, apple pressing on Market Hill and a bread-making workshop.

All events are free, although donations are always welcome.
