A Dickensian walk featuring characters from the author’s 19th century novels is set to take place in Sudbury on November 29.

Two blue badge guides dressed as Scrooge and Mrs Scratchit will guide walkers, starting from the library on Market Hill at 11am.

The walk follows the story of Scrooge’s journey from London to stay with Mrs Scratchit.

The entertaining and informative event is set in Sudbury because of the town’s strong link to Dickens.

Organisers are advising to book a £4 ticket early.
