Three amateur actors threw themselves headlong into their roles as convicts in a new play – by having their heads shaved.

Kevin Roychowdhury, Adam Webster and Matthew Byham are playing inmates in Sudbury Dramatic Society’s production of My Three Angels.

The trio volunteered to have their heads shaved in the Quay Bar on Sunday, cheered on by cast members and friends. They raised around £50 for the theatre.

Director Geoff Banwell said: “We are well under way with rehearsals and everyone is feeling good about it.”

The play runs from Tuesday, October 22, until Saturday, October 26. Tickets are available by calling the box office on 01787 374745.
