Two 18-year-old men have been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage after more than 20 vehicles in Sudbury were damaged.

Police were called around 4.40am on Saturday, 14 May, to reports of two people knocking wing mirrors off cars in the Ballingdon Street area. Officers attended and found a number of vehicles with damage.

One of the 18-year-olds, from Sudbury, was arrested in the area before 5am, the other, from the Halstead area of Essex, handed himself in a short time later.

Both were taken into custody where they were interviewed in connection with the incidents.

Both have now been bailed to return to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre at the end of June (the one from Sudbury on June 29, the one from Essex on June 30) to allow further enquiries to be carried out.
