A Glemsford man is to stand trial accused of racially aggravated assault.
Gavin Clancey, 34, of School Field, appeared at Ipswich Crown Court on Friday.
He pleaded not guilty to the alleged offence which is said to have occurred at Sudbury bus station on October 20 last year.
The court heard that a Bengali interpreter is expected to be required when the alleged victim gives evidence.
Judge Rupert Overbury told Clancey that he would continue to be granted bail until his trial begins next month. The trial is expected to last for two days.
