Police link burglaries

BURGLARS stole expensive electrical equipment and a car after breaking into a house in Hadleigh.

The thieves broke into the house in Pykenham Way between 11.30pm on April 5 and 7am the next day, stealing an MP3 player, sat nav, a digital camera, a handbag and a TV.

Keys to a black Ford Fiesta – registration MV53 VHD – were also stolen and the car taken from the driveway.

Four suspicious-looking male teenagers were seen outside at around 3.20am carrying a TV.

Items from the property and the vehicle were later found discarded in Pykenham Way and along the route to Hintlesham.

Police are linking the theft with another burglary in Bradfield Crescent, Hadleigh, between midnight and 3.30am on Wednesday when cash and car keys were stolen from a house. A jar the cash was in and the keys were later found nearby.
