POLICE are appealing for information on the whereabouts of a man believed to be Suffolk’s most wanted criminal.
Alfie Smith, who is also wanted by Essex police, is being sought in connection with offences, including conspiracy to commit burglary and money laundering, between May, 2009, and February, 2010.
Around 70 premises were affected in the Babergh, Mid Suffolk and St Edmundsbury districts, ranging from sheds and garages to farm outbuildings, businesses and cash machines.
Stolen or cloned vehicles were used during the crimes and items stolen include power tools, landscaping machinery and cash.
The 31-year-old is described as white, around 5ft 9in tall, of large build and with short brown hair. He has a number of scars on his face and tattoos on both arms.
His last known address was in Barnardiston and he is known to have contacts across the country.
