Police hunt fire starters

TWO teenagers are believed to have started a car fire which damaged two other vehicles and a garage door.

The arson attack took place between 7pm on Monday and 1.20am the next morning in Hawkins Road, Sudbury.

A silver Vauxhall Astra was set alight and the fire spread to a black Peugeot 206 and a silver VW Polo, which were parked next to the Astra and a garage door.

A police spokeswoman said: “Two suspicious male youths were seen in the area at the time, before running off towards a park.”

The first is described as white, 15 or 16 years old and with short dark hair. He was wearing dark clothing and a hooded top.

His accomplice is described as white, 15 or 16 years old, 5ft 6in tall, of slim build with stubble and a mole on one cheek. He was wearing dark clothing and a hooded top.
