Police call for help after schoolchild is approached

A man who approached schoolchildren and asked one to come for a walk is being sought by police.

The incident happened at Hintlesham and Chattisham Primary School, in George Street, Hintlesham, at 12.30pm on Friday.

The man is said to have approached the locked school gates and spoken to children through the railings.

He is described as being of mixed race, between 65 and 70 years old, tall, thin and with short white hair and a beard. He was wearing a grey patterned scarf, brown trousers and had a medium to large-sized brown dog.
