A Bildeston man is to stand trial accused of three offences said to have been committed at a pub in the village.
Andrew Eccles, 23, of High Street, appeared at Ipswich Crown Court on Friday.
He pleaded not guilty to two offences of assault causing actual bodily harm and one of being in possession of an offensive weapon.
The offences are alleged to have been committed at the Red Lion pub in Bildeston on December 28 last year.
Judge David Goodin told Eccles that he would have to return to court in August to stand trial.
