Inquest into Long Melford man’s death

AN inquest has been opened following the death of a Long Melford man.

Andrew Foster, who lived at The Drays, died at his home on Wednesday.

A police spokeswoman said: “Suffolk Police were called to an address in Long Melford at approximately 2pm on Wednesday, November 2, following a report of a sudden death.

“The matter is not being treated as suspicious and has been referred to the coroner.”

Mr Foster, 42, who worked at Nestlé Purina on Chilton industrial estate, Sudbury, was pronounced dead at 1.55pm.

The inquest was opened and adjourned at Bury St Edmunds police station on Friday afternoon.
