Inquest into Ashen motorcyclist’s death

AN INQUEST into the death of a motorcyclist has been opened.

David Burwash, from Ashen, near Stoke by Clare, was killed when his yellow motorbike was in collision with a white van on the B1061 at Great Wratting at around 5.15pm on October 4.

The 50-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, despite the efforts of East Anglian Air Ambulance paramedics.

An initial inquest into the death was opened and adjourned in Bury St Edmunds on Monday. A full hearing will be heard at a later date.
