A Sudbury teenager has been given a community order for being caught in possession of cannabis.

Benjamin Clauson, 19, from East Street, admitted two charges of possessing the drug in Sudbury on September 8 and July 3 when he appeared at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.

Clauson was given a 12-month community order with supervision and ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge.

He had previously been given a year’s community order after admitting possessing and being concerned in the supply of cannabis, as well as obstructing a police officer, after being caught by undercover police on Sudbury Upper School’s field in March.
