Charges against a Long Melford woman accused of being involved in a cannabis factory worth around £1million have been dropped.

Dung Hoangh, 22, from Mill House, was arrested with two other people in June after police discovered 1,300 cannabis plants at a property in Withindale Lane.

Police found the factory during a search of the property after reports of suspicious activity.

The Crown Prosecution Service offered no evidence against Miss Hoangh, who denied the charge, at Ipswich Crown Court on Wednesday,

Hoc Nguyen, 18, also from Mill House, was sentenced to eight months in a young offenders’ institute in July after admitting producing the drug.

Hung Tran, 18, from the same address, denies the charge and will stand trial at Ipswich Crown Court later this year.
