Cavendish man given unpaid work for growing cannabis

A Cavendish man was sentenced to 80 hours of unpaid work after admitting growing cannabis on Tuesday.

Edmund Osborne, 40, from Colts Hall Road, pleaded guilty to growing the drug in Haverhill on April 29 at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court.

He was given a 12-month community order, with 80 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
