Car stolen in burglary

POLICE are appealing for information after a car was stolen from outside a house in Sudbury.

The theft took place between 7pm on Friday and 1.40am on Saturday when raiders broke into a house in Church Street and stole the keys to a blue Peugeot 206, which was then driven away.

At around 12.40am on Saturday, a police patrol saw the car stopped at traffic lights in Girling Street and a man ran from the vehicle, which was recovered.

He is described as white, of slim build and with blond hair. He was wearing black clothing.
