Burglaries in Long Melford not linked, say police

Two burglaries from sheds in Long Melford last week are not connected, according to police.

A shed at a home in Station Road was broken into between 9.30am on Monday, April 1 and 8.30am on Saturday.

A front panel on the shed was broken and a black Diamond Back BMX bike with a red front rim, red chain and white pedals was stolen.

The second attack happened in Cordell Place between 8pm on Wednesday and 7.30pm on Thursday, when offenders forced their way into a shed and stole a Camon heavy duty garden rotavator, a Makita chainsaw, a Stihl hedge trimmer, a Tanaka petrol strimmer and a McCulloch chainsaw.
