A 17-year-old boy from Long Melford has been charged with assault following a late-night brawl at a football club.
The charge relates to a disturbance at Great Cornard Football Club in Blackhouse Lane on April 4.
Police were called to the club car park at around midnight after reports of underage drinking and fighting.
Three teenagers were found to have suffered injuries and one was taken to hospital with minor facial injuries.
Since the incident, the football club has had its licence to serve alcohol suspended for three months.
The boy is due before Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
