Bike thief strikes twice

POLICE are appealing for information after four push bikes and a scooter were stolen.

Thieves broke into a shed in Essex Avenue, Sudbury, and stole a man’s black mountain bike, a woman’s red mountain bike and a man’s purple mountain bike. The theft took place between 10.30pm on Tuesday, July 26, and 7.30am the next day.

A boy’s white Apollo Avalanche mountain bike and a JD Bugg scooter were also taken from a shed in Second Avenue, Sudbury, between 5pm on July 26 and 8.30am the following day.

Police believe the thefts are linked.
