A 90-YEAR-OLD woman’s bag containing more than £300 was stolen while she shopped in Sudbury.
Nora Sullivan, who lives in the town, was shopping in the Edinburgh Woollen Mill in Old Market Place last Tuesday when her brown leather bag was taken from her trolley.
The bag contained a purse, wallet, keys, medicine and doctors’ notes.
Mrs Sullivan said the theft had left her terrified.
“I can’t believe it was taken,” she said. “I have had my locks changed because they took my keys, but I’m still scared at night.”
Anyone with any information about the theft should contact Sudbury Police on 01473 613500.
