INQUIRIES into what caused a crash between an ambulance and a Sudbury grandmother are ongoing.
Beverly Richardson, 70, from Melford Road, spent two months in hospital after suffering life-threatening injuries when her car was in collision with an ambulance on a 999 call outside her home in April.
Mrs Richardson has since raised more than £3,500 for the East Anglian Air Ambulance after asking for donations for the service which helped treat her instead of birthday presents.
A Suffolk Police spokeswoman said: “The investigation is ongoing at this time and as such we cannot comment further.”
A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance service added that its own investigation was also still in progress.
