Theft sparks police call

THIEVES stole a catalytic converter from a van in Stoke-by-Clare, prompting police to urge drivers to park with care.

The driver’s window of a white Mercedes Sprinter van in Church Park was removed from the door between 5pm on Wednesday and 8.15am the following day.

Suffolk Police are advising people to park in well-lit areas with plenty of overlooking properties.
