Purse stolen from Long Melford Library

A purse was stolen from a handbag in Long Melford Library yesterday morning (Sunday).

An offender entered the building at around 11.30am, before it was open to the public, and stole a dark brown purse with black and brown trim from the bag, which had been left unattended briefly.

Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting crime reference number SU/13/373.
