Can you help identify Earls Colne thief?

CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Police want help identifying this man in connection with a theft from the Co Op store in Earls Colne.

CCTV images of a man who confused an Earls Colne shopkeeper and walked away with £100 have been released by police.

The man went into the Co-op store in the High Street in January and offered the cashier large denomination notes, asking for various small denomination notes and change, walking away with more than £100 profit.

He is described as Asian, in his late 20s or early 30s, with a moustache or goatee beard and long side burns. Anyone with information should contact Pc Max Ansell at Witham Neighbourhood Crime team on 101.
