Sudbury Ephemera Archive, which collects and archives documents to record the history of the town and surrounding area, has been handed a £600 grant by county councillor John Sayers to spend on new technological equipment.

Purchases will include a digital camera to take pictures of documents not in the group’s own archive , two back up hard drives to ensure these records can be kept safe and memory sticks to allow records to be easily accessible.

The group is in need of new members . Anybody interested in joining can call 07846 885909.
