A ROTARY prom concert provided a cash boost that was music to the organisers’ ears as it raised more than £800.
The annual event, which was being held by Sudbury Rotary Club for the 34th time, took place at St Peter’s.
Featuring music from the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra and directed by Matthews Andrews, the concert drew in the crowds.
Rotarian Chris Proffitt said: “The concert went very well and St Peter’s was absolutely packed.
“We made a profit of more than £800 and a great time was had by all.”
The money raised will now go into the Rotary’s charity fund and be used to support local charities and provide aid for humanitarian disasters.
