CLEARING UP: Youngsters improve woodland for wildlife.

Members of the 1st Acton and Waldingfield Cub Scouts have been helping out with some woodland management.

In order to help achieve their naturalist and conservation badges, the Cubs cleared trees at the RSPB Wolves Wood near Hadleigh last Sunday.

The cleared area will enhance ground cover for flowers in the woods, and give birds, such as nightingales and other ground nesting warblers, a habitat to nest and feed.
