The hard work of two teenagers has been rewarded after a craft fair raised £350.

Jack Ingram and Sian Lawson, who are both 15 and attend Ormiston Sudbury Academy, organised the event at Acton Village Hall on Saturday.

The money will be split between Helping Hands – a charity of which the pair are youth committee members – and an appeal to fund an electric wheelchair, costing £8,600, for Marion Blower.

“There was a good turn-out on the day and lots of people were saying how the community had been brought together,” said Jack, pictured with Sian.
