Busy workers will be able to take a break from their screens and enjoy an hour of free music across the summer at St Peter’s in Sudbury.
The Friends of St Peter’s have set up a series of free music sessions on Tuesday afternoons to bring people into the former church, allowing them to relax and eat their lunch while listening to local acts.
Heather Clayton, volunteering co-ordinator for the Friends, said: “We want to get people familiar with St Peter’s, to increase footfall and show that it is there for the community.”
The concerts take place between 12.30pm and 1.30pm on most Tuesdays between now and September. Entrance is free and tea and coffee will be available.
