Youngsters can once again enjoy joining in activities at Acton Youth Club after it returned following a month-long absence.

The club, which is run from the village hall, was forced to halt sessions after encountering problems getting a youth leader to oversee events.

On Monday, the club welcomed backed members.

“The club has now reopened,” said Jack Ingram, 15, one of the club’s committee members.

“It had not been running for about a month, but everything has been sorted out.”

The club takes places every Monday from 6pm to 7.30pm and is open to children aged between seven and 12.

It has a number of games consoles and regularly runs sports activities. Up to 50 children attend the club. All sessions are £1.50.
