The Class of 2014/2015 said goodbye to their friends and teachers at the annual Ormiston Sudbury Academy Prom held at AFC Sudbury on June 26.

Balloons and bows filled the venue in the theme colours of gold and Ormiston Academy blue with a touch of
cerise and students danced the throughout the evening to the music of
DJ Dizzle.

School spokeswoman Pip Mackay said: “The students always go to a great deal of effort to support his
event and both boys and girls are transformed in their finery.”

The usual range of ‘flash’ cars were on show as groups of students drove round the town to the venue.

Many of the students will be staying at the academy for the next stage of their education but others will be going off to different colleges and apprenticeships in the county meaning it was a goodbye to many of the teachers and friends they had made during their time at the academy.
