Clare Country Park is holding a family Party on Sunday.

Clare Community Association has organised the party to celebrate the Queen’s 90th Birthday and the organisers have promised there is be something for everyone.

There will be an array of activities including traditional games, stalls and vintage vehicles on display.

Entertainment will be provided with dancing from Westrefelda Morris and Colette’s School of Entertainment.

There is also a 1920s costume competition with prizes to win, a display by Clare firefighters, rare breed animals on show including a Suffolk Punch horse, Roly Mo, Suffolk sheep and a dog show.

For the children there will be an entertainer, beat the goalie with Clare Town Lions, a children’s roundabout and other activities.

There will be plenty of food stalls including a hog roast, barbecue, tea and beer tents, Pimm’s and prosecco and strawberries and cream, as well as candy floss, sweets, cakes and sandwiches.

Live music will be provided from the Pyramid Tent by the Vintage Jazz Band and swing by duo Rraine and Tony Bonavia, plus the Un4gettable barbershop quartet will be performing and DJ Chris Bedford will also be there.

The event starts at midday and goes on until 6pm.
