Dramatically-colourful costumes and hundreds of energetic young dancers have proved a winning combination for Sudbury Quay School of Theatre Dance.

The school staged its biennial show, called A Circus Mystery, at Ormiston Sudbury Academy on Saturday and Sunday, with performances by pupils from both its Sudbury and Bury St Edmunds schools.

Principal Marie Morris said 300 students took part in the show, which showcased ballet, tap and modern dance routines. The event was a “big success” with a 1,000-strong audience over the two days.
