FESTIVE fun starts early in Lavenham with a Christmas fair.
The Dickensian-style event held in Market Square, will include entertainment and attractions for all ages, on December 9 and 10.
Stalls will be selling cakes, clothes and cheeses, while toys and handbags will also be on offer as visitors walk around the fair listening to carol singers, bands and buskers.
For the first time two live reindeer will also be making an appearance along with Father Christmas and his elves. The Guildhall will open its doors to provide a food hall.
The village’s shops and hotels will all be involved in getting people in the Christmas spirit and, following last year’s success, a number of funfair rides will make a return.
The event is set to run from 6pm to 8pm on December 9, and from 10.30am to 5.30pm on December 10.
