Christmas cheer will fill a barn later this month as a festive fundraising fair is set to transform it into a winter wonderland in aid of a local Hospice.
Foxearth Hall Barn will be opened on Saturday 26 November for a Christmas fair in aid of St Nicholas Hospice Care, after its owner Pam Pluck was touched by the care the Hospice gives.
Pam said: “Having lost many friends to cancer and other debilitating illnesses, I have seen first- hand the wonderful end-of-life care St Nicholas Hospice Care provides as well as the incredible support they give to the families at such a traumatic time.
“As soon as one enters the Hospice a warm and friendly atmosphere prevails and diffuses the distress and suffering.
“It is an invaluable resource in our community and we must preserve it. It costs rather a lot to uphold this great institution and so fundraising is absolutely essential.”
The fair will feature 20 stalls selling gifts and unusual items not available on the high street. Tea, coffees and light snacks will be available.
There are still a few stalls available at the event, with Pam keen to hear from anyone selling unusual items not available in mainstream shops. She is also calling for donations of raffle and tombola prizes.
For more information, contact Pam at firstname.lastname@example.org or 01787 311326.
The event is on Saturday, November 26, 10am-4pm, at Foxearth Hall Barn, The Street, Foxearth, CO10 7JH.
