Christmas kicks off at St Mary’s, Chilton, with a weekend of nostalgia by candlelight.
On Saturday at 3pm, the Trinity Singers directed by Stephen Hogger will be presenting a programme of Christmas music after its successful visit last year.
Tickets are £8 on the door or from Tourist Information in Sudbury Library and include refreshments.
On Sunday at 3pm St Mary’s stages its traditional Carols by Candlelight service, with the choir of St Gregory’s.
The church will be decked in holly and ivy, with punch and homemade mince pies served. There will also be a collection for nonperishable food for the local Storehouse foodbank.
