The thrills and spills of skateboarding and scooters attracted scores of children to a skate park.

But this was a skate park with a difference – it is mobile and tours the district during the school summer holidays.

Based in Cordell Road, Long Melford, on Thursday, it featured humps for children to have a go at jumping with their own skateboards and scooters, or loaned ones.

Making one of its last appearances before the start of the new school term, the mobile skate park was run by Babergh District Council staff.
