A summer fete to raise funds for the Suffolk and Essex Small Animal Welfare (Sesaw) is being held on Sunday, July 31.

The event, called the Summer Fete of Yesteryear, is the charity’s fundraising event of the year and the emphasis will be on “good old-fashioned family fun”.

Attractions include side shows, competitions for all ages and tarot readings. There is also a strictly-for-fun dog show with a display by West Suffolk Ace Agility, after which visitors will be invited to take their dogs over the course.

Musical entertainment will be provided by the Elmsett Fellowship Brass Band. It starts at noon at Sesaw’s base in Stoke Road, Leavenheath.

Admission is £1, with under 12s free. Dogs on leads are welcome.
