Charity needs your help

ANIMAL lovers are being asked to volunteer a few hours of their time to help a local shelter.

Suffolk and Essex Small Animal Welfare (Sesaw) is appealing for extra help at its fundraising events this summer.

The charity, based in Leavenheath, is dedicated to the care and re-homing of sick and abandoned animals.

This Saturday, a coffee morning is being held in the United Reformed Church hall in School Street, Sudbury, from noon to 2pm.

The following Saturday, the charity will have a stall at the Late Risers Boot Sale by the Stratford St Mary Anchor.

Volunteers are also needed to collect money at local supermarkets.

If you feel you can give a few hours once or twice a month, call 01206 799424.
