The Lee Dunford Memorial Cup returns for its ninth year on Saturday.
The football match is held annually as part of the build up to the LeeStock Music Festival and is played in memory of Lee Dunford, a Sudbury man who died in 2006.
The match involves Long Melford Razors and LeeStock Utd, formed of Lee’s friends and people associated with the LeeStock festival.
This year’s game will be hosted by Long Melford Football Club and will take place straight after Long Melford’s last home game of the season, at around 5.30pm.
The Razors extended their overall lead to six matches to two in last year’s match so this year LeeStock Utd will be looking for revenge.
There will be the opportunity to buy tickets to the LeeStock Music Festival at the match, the festival being held at the end of May at Melford Hall.
This year’s festival will be headlined by The Feeling, The Hoosiers and Lucy Spraggan along with a host of local acts.
