Organisers of Women in Wheels Sudbury are offering a once in a lifetime opportunity to ride out ahead of the Friend’s Life Women’s Tour when it starts in Bury St Edmunds on June 17.

Women signing up to the event – a ladies charity cycle ride in aid of St Nicholas Hospice Care – before Thursday, May 21, will have the chance to win one of eight golden tickets when they register.

All participants who have signed up will be entered into a prize draw.

Tracey Loynds, chief executive of South Suffolk Leisure, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for eight of our Women on Wheels Sudbury participants to have the opportunity to be part of a prestigious group who will ride ahead of the Friends Life Women’s Tour on June 17.”

St Nicholas Hospice Care’s community fundraiser Jordan Hughes said: “What an amazing opportunity for some very lucky people. I urge as many women and girls out there to sign up and take part.

“Not only will you be in with a chance of winning a once in a lifetime opportunity, but you will be helping to fund such important work in the community for those facing life limiting and long term illnesses.”

There will be a chance to register this weekend when the Women on Wheels organisers visit Sudbury’s Waitrose store, collecting for the charity, with an all women team attempting to ride a set of spinning bikes throughout the day.
