Musicians and singers will begin performing at St Peter’s in Sudbury during lunch times from next month.

The concerts, which are free to attend and will run from 12.30pm to 1.30pm, start on April 8.

Amateur musicians from around the area are being invited to take part in the concerts, which are expected to become a regular occurrence in order to increase visitor numbers.

“We hope these music sessions will have a relaxed atmosphere, with the opportunity for the audience to come and go as they wish, eat their sandwiches, and stand or sit to listen,” said Heather Clayton, from The Friends of St Peter’s.
