Visitors to Hedingham Castle were given a rare treat at the weekend.
For three Sundays in the winter each year, the castle opens its gates, allowing visitors to see the stunning snowdrops that flourish in its gardens.
As well as the snowdrops, people can also take a walk through the castle, while added entertainment is also put on.
On Sunday, a falconry and birds of prey display by Lavenham Falconry wowed the watching crowds.
And to warm up from the cold, hot mulled wine and soup was served.
Simon Orr, general manager at the castle, said: “We’ve got a fantastic display of snow drops and we want to give people the opportunity to enjoy them.
“We had a fabulous sunny day on Sunday and people had a brilliant time.”
The snowdrop Sundays continue this Sunday and on Sunday, February 22.
The castle is open from 11am to 4pm and will reopen fully on March 29.
