FUNDS from Sudbury’s Christmas Tree Festival will be distributed next week.
The annual event, held at St Peters, attracted a record 89 exhibitors in December and raised £4,600.
On Monday, the money from the festival, which is organised by Sudbury and Sudbury Talbot Rotary Clubs, will be handed out to good causes at Newton Green Golf Club.
A donation of £1,800 will be given to the Personal Rehabilitation Unit in Colchester and £1,200 will go the The Friends of St Peter.
The remaining £1,600 will be shared between the town’s rotary clubs.
